QBA is based in Liverpool, Sydney. It was founded by Najmudheen Rahman and Sheeja Sugatha Kumar and who have built the firm’s reputation on providing exceptional standards of customer care. QBA launched in July 2017, with a vision to serve society, create employment, provide internship for the graduates, and engage with charities.
Our mission is to create long lasting partnerships with small and medium-sized business clients, SMSF trustees, Government departments, charities, not-for-profit CEOs and people requiring tax, accounting & payroll outsourcing services. We are committed to providing them with the most optimal solutions possible and helping them build their dream by minimising the amount of tax they pay, and providing best practice strategies so they can achieve their goals. Najmudheen is an accountant with over 10 years’ experience in finance, sales & marketing. Before launching QBA, he was Sales and Marketing Supervisor at M.H. Group of Companies in Dubai for nine years.
He received a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from William Carey University in India & is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants, and a Fellow of the National Tax and Accountants’ Association in Australia. He is also an individual registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
Naj advocates a comprehensive approach to business growth that includes ensuring the firm’s growth (in terms of turnover, client relationships, strategic partnerships, marketing & staff management) is aligned to a solid financial plan.
Naj’s management skills & commitment to enhance the company’s culture & expand the firm’s business have helped to establish QBA as one of the leading business accounting practices in the region.
Sheeja is a seasoned finance professional with an outstanding track record of managing small to medium-sized businesses. She has a wealth of knowledge in public practice including tax planning and compliance, forensic accounting, administering self-managed super funds, strategic business growth and all aspects of payroll outsourcing.
Before launching QBA,Sheeja spent much of her career in senior accounting and finance roles that relied on her astute knowledge of financial strategy, forecasting and reporting to achieve growth.
Sheeja is an accounting member of IPA (Institute of Public Accountants), has received an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She also has a Master of Commerce in Forensic Accounting and Commerce from the University of Western Sydney and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in India.
Sheeja is an individual registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. In 2020, she became a Justice of The Peace (NSW).
Ellie is a general and tax accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Master of Global Project Management from Torrens University in Australia.
Before working at Qualita Business Accounting, she was Assistant Finance and Management Accountant at Snakk Media. Ellie’s background includes working in finance for luxury brands, such as Dior, Louis Vuitton and LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics.
She is a member of CPA Australia and Vice President Educational and Treasurer of Toastmasters at Torrens University. She is also a member of Mentors@Macquarie and a University Ambassador for Torrens University.
Monika is studying for a Diploma of Accounting at TAFENSW. She is a student member of the Institute of Public Accountants and has an advanced certificates in MYOB (MYOB AccountRight,MYOB Payroll and MYOB Essentials) Xero and Xero Payroll from The Career Academy.
Her specialist skills include administration, problem solving,GST calculations, BAS and IAS preparation, bank reconciliations and payroll.
Soph has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from Western Sydney University.
Sophanny assists many small businesses with their bookkeeping and compliance administration.
She is capable of using all software in the marketplace such as Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero Tax and Dear Inventory, with a heavy emphasis on Xero and MYOB. She loves working in the cloud.
Soph is really passionate about small business and is more than happy to assist any clients with bookkeeping & tax compliance requirements.
Sana Alameddine is a recent graduate of Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting.
She has relevant experience in general bookkeeping tasks, data entries, bank reconciliation and administrating payroll for small businesses through all leading accounting software i.e, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero.
Sana’s skills include problem solving, strong attention to detail, critical thinking and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Sana is passionate about bookkeeping and accounting. She enjoys the variety bookkeeping brings, liasing with clients and helping make a difference to their business.
